PSP 7 Frame Tutorial Continued...
15. Click on the Bucket Tool,
and LEFT click anywhere
in your border, inside the marching ants. This will color your border the
color you choose from the step above. DO NOT DESELECT.

16. If you want to texture your border, go to Effects/Texture/Texture, and
choose something you like, and click apply. If NOT then skip to the next
step.

In this tutorial, I used Blanket preset in the dropdown
list shown above, with these settings.
17. Go to Selections/Invert. Selecting the inside portion of your border.

18. Click on Effects/3D Effects/Cutout, apply the same settings as last
time, should be already there for you.

19. Click on Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow, apply the same settings as
last time, should still be there for you.

20. Go to Selections, SELECT NONE.

21. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Buttonize. Enter HEIGHT: 10, WIDTH: 10,
OPACITY 41. Transparent edge CHECKED. You can play with these settings to
get whatever effect you want. Use the EYE to see the changes as you make
them. (*Note: the buttonizer is affected by your background color. So if
you have your background color set to blue, buttonize will give your frame
a tinge of blue.)

Go To Image Resize, and resize to 275 for the height, let the width auto
size. Then go to effects/sharpen/sharpen.

22. Go to file/new.

Create a background that you will want to place the
image you just made onto. You can use textures or whatever. Even a plain
background will do. You will want this to be at least 30px or so higher
than your image, and 1024px wide! For this image were using 1024x300
white.

choose a color from your graphic with the eye dropper
, and flood fill, using
the bucket
, a solid color. If your
confident enough, add a texture. (Effects/Texture Effects/Texture). For
this one I never. I just added the color.
23. Go back to your framed image. Click Edit/Copy or the double note pad
beside the scissors.

24. Go back to your background strip you just made, then go to EDIT/Paste
As New LAYER.

25. Use the mover Tool
and move the framed image
to the far left, and closer to the top.
26. Go to your Layers Pallet, make sure your on Layer 1, select your magic
wand ( ) and click anywhere other then on the image. You will have
marching ants around your framed image, and your entire background.

27. Go to Selections/Invert.

28. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and add a drop shadow of Opacity
32, Blur 12, Vertical 8, Horizontal 8.

29. Go To Selections/Select None.

30. Layers/Merge/All Flatten

This is your finished product on a smaller scale.
